Hurray! Power is back! Almost 3 days without power.

We're all safe. Lots of branches down. A lot of neighbors lost fences and several trees are on cars and houses. It looks like a real mess, but there was rather little house damage in my neighborhood. Without power we had a street BBQ yesterday after we shared chainsaws and muscles. Finally watching news (while I type), looks like a lot of folks are much worse off.

My tank was at the tail end of its cycle... but the temp held (nice and steamy here around Houston). Fishies seem OK. Haven't tested my params yet. . . we'll see.

Tanks for all the wishes everyone!

In louisville ky we got the remnants of ike yesterday. 65 mph winds no rain though. 225,000 without power at the moment. Unfortunatly I am one of them. I have a battery operated air pump going for the last 24 hours and ups backup my two korralias. Everthing seems to be okay. Corals are still going strong just a little closed up. Temp 78 but the outside air is 68 so we are okay for a little while. We have been on generators for the last 24 hours at the RR.
