Hurt feelings

Well... since I am waiting for my tank water in my current build to clear up before op checking the pump http://www.3reef.com/forums/show-off-your-fish-tanks/155-liter-build-started-july-09-a-90499.html I figured I would post this about my baby Chromite... I have been playing musical tanks with these fish so I feel I am part to blame. I had 3 Chromis, one died recently by going blind and starving to death...Now to the baby that has the huge gash on its tail... I just moved him from the QT to a 12 gallon tank yesterday and now he has this gash. I know it could be a number of things that may of attacked him, such as a rogue crab in the LR or uncle hawk or even the maroon clown or bigger chromis. I just want to get someone's take on this if they have experience of what the gash looks like it could have been.

 

It looks like it may be the hawk fish that attacked the baby chromite...I had since removed the baby chromite and put him in a QT... now there is damage to the bigger chromis that is left in the tank...The hawk fish picked on a goby in my other tank, but never took bites of him...those chromis were in the same tank as the hawk fish and goby at one time. I figure if he kills the chromis and then starts going at my maroon clown, I'll just flush em... lol
