    Hi,
My clown is hiding in his elegance coral more than usual. When it came out I noticed over one of its gills a collection of clumps that is definitely swollen. I have 4 other fish in my 60 gallon reef. He is the only fish with problems I can see. Any suggestions? My water has been tested and is good. The swollen clump looks like numerous clumps together. Please help Ive had this guy forever and I am worried. LFS said to quarantine with lower gravity and at the least to catch the fish and fresh water dip it. And the fish is still currently eating.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Kind of sounds like Lymphocyctis, but without image just a guess.

Of course your LFS would like you to QT the fish that way you spend more money on QT's paraphernalia and medications.

Do your best to feed high quality foods with HUFA (selcon or equiv), perhaps try some Melafix. I would not do a FW bath at this point until you know what your treating. Please put up an image if possible.
