    Have to give credit to the people at Hydor( you guys rock). I e-mailed them about two covers that cracked on my 1040 evo`s. They didn't ask for pics or where/when I bought them, they just asked my shipping info,what I needed and sent it out right away;D;D..I just wanted to post some positive experience about a great company;D..we all know theres to much negative out there..::)

    Very cool. Nobody ever posts about the good stuff lol. It's good to know that their customer service is so good. Makes me feel good about buying their products lol. Thanks for posting.

    I had the same experience with them. The only difference was my new covers didnt show up when they said they would, so I gave them a few days before contacting them again to see if they shipped. They had, and because I hadnt recieved them yet they sent out new ones immediately. Next thing I know I have 5 new covers showing up. I only said I needed 2. They have great customer service.

    No prob thats why I did it..you never see the good stuff these companies do.

    well at least you have plenty extra lol..

    can you please give me that email address? I've tried to email them about 5 times and I've gotten no response, I have a cracked outter housing and the pumps need new impellers because they always restart in reverse

    Congrats on the great service

    Ontop I don't know the email but the fix for the reverse start is new internal magnets instead of impeller if I remember right.

    I just went to hydor dot com plugged in my area info,then at the main site used the contact us tab in the upper right . it took a day or two for a reply,but once they did it took approx a week for delivery..HTH..

    Huh pretty funny. I have always stated great things about Hydor in my posts. Within a year they replaced the covers to my EVOs 6 times. Wavemakers especially the RedSea Wavemaker Pro beats the heck out of them.

    Nice to see others having great experience with them.

    The reverse start is caused by the broken or very worn rubber bumper that in on the grill cover on the EVOs. The impeller will spin in which ever direction it first starts in.
