Is this going in the 55? Are you using it with your return?

I've used one in a biocube and it worked well.

I use it on my 75 gal and it works great, that's when it is working. There's times when it will stick and stop rotating and at 20.00 a pop at my lfs I go through them like crazy. Looking at my tank now I see it has stopped rotating will have to take it out and give it a good cleaning and hope it will work. Over all it is great.

The Flo has a maximum flow of I think only 300-400gph so if you put it on a larger powerhead you will not get the full flow amount of it as I understand it.

i use it and love it, great cheap invention. just don't overdrive it and keep it clear of obstruction like close to the wall and rocks where snails can bind it up. can cause premature failure since its gears are made out of plastic. corals really like the flow that it creates.

If they stop working that often buy a few at marinedepot and store them, would save you money.
