Just wondering how you guys rated the Hydor Koralia 4 - my tank's 350 litres, but it already has some water movement, so I was thinking of getting one of these. What are your opinions?

    Thanks again, 3reef! ;D

We have the problem of US and UK gallons, too, don't we :p

Edit: I googled - says it's 92.4 US gallons - unsure what the true volume would be, of course!

A K4 is perfect for that tank size. I have 1 in my 90 gallon tank.

Currently got a rather non-descript Eheim pump, generating enough current to blow through my leather toadstool, which is about 3.5 feet away from the pump. It's not a proper powerhead though - so I'm looking at removing it entirely if possible.

Other than the leather - I've got a small colony of star[burst] polyps, which are close to the pump, without receiving a direct blast.

It's only a couple of months old, and I don't have a whole lot of cash after buying LR and the tank etc. so I'm stocking slowly, which I've heard is never a bad thing.

    Firstly - great tank! :)

It's quite similar to what I ultimately aim for, too. It's good to see someone else having success with equipment before buying it.

I would get the ehiem out as its a return pump most likely and not a power head. If i where you id add two k3s or a k4 and a k3 to start with. You dont have any sps so really you could get away with 2 k3s untill or if you ever wanted to get some sps

Heading over to my LFS on Tuesday, I should think. Busy working weekend for me haha (which means I'll have cash to burn at the LFS :p)! I'm probably going to get a K4 to begin with, and add the K3 when I have the cash, then.

As for the Eheim - is it alright to leave it in for now, just to keep the water circulating?
