Ok so I am thinking about getting one of these. I just saw them in person and they look really cool and at such an amzing price compared to similar PH's.

My problem is figuring out which one to get. I plan on getting only one and still use my maxijets. I just need some insight, I don't want too much flow that will cause damage to the corals but I want a good amount to keep the tank healthy. So anyone got any insight into these types of PH's?

    I currently use for flow:

    1 aquaclear ph (176gph)
    1 mj1200 (295gph)
    1 mj400 (110gph)

plus my filter's gph is 200.

Now would it be better to get a higher gph koralia and ditch one or two maxi's, or anyone got a better idea?

her's the Koralia's in case anyone has yet to do research on them.

    Koralia 1 400 gph
    Koralia 2 600 gph
    Koralia 3 850 gph
    Koralia 4 1,200 gph

Remember that these aren't designed like regular powerheads!...these difuse the water over a greater area, therefore it isn't like a jet stream of water that could harm coral, this is more gadual so you can go with a stronger Hydor IMO!

I would hold off getting one, there is a thread going around RC started by pet solutions saying there is a recall on the #2 and #3 powerheads, something about the motor not being sealed right and leaking voltage.

thanks for that info. God I am so glad we have this forum, I will hold off till things are figured out. I hope they fix this problem because that is not a problem we reefers need in our tanks. Karma to you.

Nothing wrong with Italian manufacturing, this happens with tons of products around the world. As long as they fix the problem, we'll all be better off.

Nemo, why don't you get one and see if you like it instead of changing out all your PHs

Good to know. I do plan on trying one out first. It would be ridiculous buyibg a bunch of them to find out you don't like them. I think I'll wait to till things are fixed. I don't need any other problems.
