I have the #3 in my 65G and have it mounted 1/3 of the way down the tank, angled up towards the surface and across the tank. It is awesome. It replaced 3 aquaclear powerheads.

I love my Hydor Koralia #2's i have 3 great P/H but I have to sell them all and replace them with tunze nanostreams 6025's because the Hydor Koralia's don't work with wavemakers they don't like to be started and stoped a lot.

Heard that they're coming out with a wavemaker for the HK. It slows them down, doesn't turn them off completely thus eliminating the chatter problem & also the problem of small fish swimming inside of them.

You can use a rio seio controller to controller the wavemakers since it only ramps power up and down and never cuts it off completely. Cheaper than all out replacing with different products.

I have always seen posts about how the H/K don't work with most wavemakers but before I got rid of them I tested them out on my new Red sea wavemaster pro and to my amazment they seem to work perfectly with very little chatter if any, I wish I could say the same for my Seio M820 the seio makes a lot of noise. So I think I'm going to sell the M820 and keep the 3 H/K #2's
