Do these type of units completly shut off or do the keep the pump going at a lower speed.

I ask this because on the koralia's i have now then they get shut off they jitter when they restart. I would hate to have a wavemaker that klicks all day.

I also reference to the JBJ model. I wonder if that one keeps the wavemakers moving at a slow speed.

    Just curious.

Yes. I believe that is how it was explained to me.

Great question. Soft-start has always been important with wavemakers. I'll try to find out. But this might be a question for a 3reef beta-tester. :)

I saw this pump in action at reefstock in Colorado and can't wait for it to come out. I was really hopping that it would come out in May though.

What type of powerheads does this use? I mean will it take their normal Koralia Evos and such, you know the kind you plug into an outlet, or does it take their controllable powerheads.

Ditto and a decent price that doesn't cost an arm and a leg for!

    Looking forward to these!

    That is a great price.

Can the Koralia Nanos be used on these or is it only for the Koralia Magnum pumps?

I would like to run one of these with 3 koralia Nano 425s...for my 29g reef.

to me it sounds like any pump can be used. koralia recommends the evolution line and the magnum line. I know some of their powerheads have been having issues with being turned on and off.
