CBS news ran a story on the Hydrobob scuba scooters today and I stumbled on this video worth sharing. Another reason to have a very large reef aquarium? Hmm... pretty cool. I would expect nothing less from the inventors of roboshark! :)

There was a Bob Dive charter company that opened here in Key West for a awhile last year. They crashed and burned pretty quick, so I guess not enough tourists were interested. Kinda cool idea though, I bet a commerical application would be helpful for scientists working underwater.

ya those are cool. they dont look all that safe though I am a big diver and it doesnt look like there are to many back up plans if some thing happens when ur underwater in those. Although i have to say they are cool and I havent researched them at all. I recently tested out a battery powered propeller that you strap onto the back of your scuba tank and it has a cord that leads off of it witha button that activates the propeller. very cool and it was able to push me and most of the other divers at around 2 knots throught the water. battery life was good on it to i think it was either 1:30 min or 45 min not sure but it was alot of fun
