I do not know off the top of my head. Remember I am only a garage junky tinkering around. Enough to create a rather nasty reaction if I allow it build up. Hows that? This is why I have placed a switch on the system. I want the car running before the system turns on to keep from building hydrogen in the engine. I dont think it would work to well if I blew the front of the motor off the car while driving down the highway.

Both? I believe in the not so distant future somebody will come up with a way to run cars soley (and efficiently without any outside fuel source) on hydrogen and cheap!

ok because it seems to me like you would need positive manifold pressure for the hydrogen to have any effect on the efficiency of the motor

Alpha you might be the man I need to speak with. I have been throwing around the idea of direct injection (into the fuel line) for a while now. My theory is (please feel free to tell me I am wrong) that gasoline never actually fully combusts while in the engine and we actually have a specified amount of waste. By adding hydrogen to the system I not only am adding fuel I will in fact cause most if not all of the remaining gasoline to react causing more fuel efficiency. Correct? Its just something I am throwing around right now. My main fear at this point is I am not sure just how much hydrogen I could mix with the gasoline safely without blowing the motor to pieces. Not to mention if I were to get into an accident and could not shut down a large fuel cell pumping hydrgen into a raging inferno.

There's other kinds of ENERGY that we're talking about turning into FUEL. The point isn't about current AVAILABILITY of LPG, but how to CREATE a FUEL.

You need ENERGY to put into a process to create anything, whether that is LPG or hydrogen. All energy originates from the sun as it currently stands. The first step is to convert the sun's energy into something we can use to create a fuel. The easiest is using a solar cell to turn photons into an electric charge. You can use that electricity to make hydrogen directly.

You cannot use electricity (or any other method) to create LPG in any simple way. You'd have to grow plants, bury them, and wait millions of years for slight heat and pressure to break down the plants into hydrocarbons. That's a convoluted process that is highly inefficient.

Do you see what I'm saying now?

Good point. I would have to look up the exact properties of hydrogen to answer your question correctly but how about this. I am constantly building pressure in the system since I am constantly creating hydrogen. The second container you see on the system is a check valve of sorts. It keeps h20 from entering the system. When in full operation the system gives off a very fast bubbling effect. Every single bubble contains hydrogen entering my motor. High amounts of hydrogen would be dangerous so I cannot add too much.
