I have a thread up about dino here:http://www.3reef.com/forums/general-reef-topics/i-think-i-have-dino-133277.html

Im sure i have dino but i started this thread because it would be more on topic.

Anyways, my LFS and a couple other members here on 3reef recommended i use H202 to solve my Dino issue. How should i go about doing this? Removing rock from the tank is not an option. Can i dose it directly in the tank? Will it also help with my red slime?

    Thanks guys.:)

Peroxide will eradicate most algae forms. I used some in my reef just recently as I red as it helped with some marine parasites. However It backfired and Killed all my algae in my tank and my params went wacko. Its safe for corals fish and inverts. I had no issues using it. But it wiped my hair algae out thats on the back of the glass..

So im assuming nitrates went up because there was nothing to eat it? Is 10mL of 3% per 10g good?

I felt like I used less then that. I cant remember what my friend who used it on her dinos did but I used that amount in the tank. I wanna say I cut it in half though and used like 1ml per 10g.

SWEET! I'm gonna start dumping in 1mL per 10g (so about 2Ml) daily until this crap resides.

    Thanks Eric!

No problem. Just monitor your tank params to make sure nothing swings.
