    Is it normal that they are only out when lights are off? or do they just do that in their early stages of growth?

    My tank is a 35 gallon Hex with about 40lbs of live rock, i would say on estimate i see about 30-40 of these on my rock. How many pep shrimp do you think i would need to take care of the problem? 3-4?

    IMO could be small aiptasia - they sometimes come out fully at night - but will come out during the day.
    Are you sure it's not a feather duster?

    I originally thought they were feather dusters but they are shaped more like aptasia then a feather duster. It's hard to get a good pic because they are so small and they disappear so quickly.

    Of course both of the Lfs are out of peppermint shrimp...lol
