    Can't find a pest thread but there has to be a way to get rid of hydroids except Kalk paste or taking the rock out to kill them!!!! I have way to much rock to practice either one of these methods. Does anybody know if there is a reef safe predator? There has to be..

    I know of no known predator.

    You can take pieces of epoxy and cover them with that and then remove the epoxy in a week or two. Just do small sections at a time.

    I don't really like putting epoxy all over the tank. So, when I see them, I just hit them with some Aptaisia X. Seems to work fine.

    They can be stubborn. It depends on the type. Some may always be present to an extent. Many do no harm though. Some do, so better to try to eliminate them when you see them IMO.

    Mine hang out in my sump, theres probably 5-15 of them I dont worry about them personally just because it would be a pain to manually extract each one.
