    The day after the battery was replaced I continued to have the same issue.

    The next day it was driven by my BF and he could not get the car to act in the same manner. I drove it today for the first time ( paranoid of stalling in intersections again) the car has not behaved again in the same manner.

    My bf used a code reader and it signaled a engine thermometer sensor problem that's it.

    Long story short: I am still at a loss as to the problem but it's vanished, hopefully and knock on wood.

    Lol, I hate that about cars. I would just replace that sensor when you get the chance and call it good. Maybe it's just an early Christmas present from your car lol.
