    This statement concerns me greatly.
Do you mean to put another 2,000lbs. of water into a tank that has failed on you already?
    WHAT THE.....
Does this thing have... Starfire glass, 24-ct Gold Trim, and Corrinthian Leather accents or something?
MY GOD, GIRL.....unless you are into reptiles and/or growing your own herbs, put that thing in the dumpster NOW while you still have your sanity! Get another tank!

er, let me rephrase that.......Get a NEW tank!

I wish I could buy a new tank but that is not an option right now! I have gone down from 3 very well paying jobs (1 ft and 2 pt) to 1 ok paying job. I have made some very dumb mistakes in my life that I am still paying for.... so while for some people buying a new 135g tank is feasible it is not for me right now!

I have 2 options right now....1. fix the tank, 2. take the tank down. I have considered taking the tank down seriously, there is not much that I enjoy as much as my tank, and I get very excited when I walk into Curts store and see all the livestock. This is one of my few plusses that I have in my life right now.

Curt (inwall) has looked at the tank and said it is fixable. He has fixed many tanks before and I trust him. I hope all goes well.........

I have attempted to contact my old friend the lfs owner that sold me the system and have not had any response yet...I did embarrass him though by posting on his facebook page!

Try letting Curt fix the tank then decide from there what to do.

Update! We resealed the tank on the inside and now waiting for it to cure. Will do a water holding test over the weekend. If that holds up will then cut the plumbing to the tank, remove it and reseal the bottom of the tank to be safe! This will allow us to replumb it properly!

I had my first silicone adventure last sunday! I wanted to learn how to do it so i had curt let me! I had my head in the tank and got a nice little buzz from the silicone! (added bonus!) imo i think i did a fairly good job on the seal...true test comes this weekend!

I am sure that you did a great job!!! Glad to see that you are re-building and getting things done properly this time. Good luck on the water test.
