    (concerning Pirahna)

Pirahna are FW only & they are not the killers that they are made out to be. I kept a shoal of red bellies for a good while, they were extremely gorgeous fish, but the most skiddish I've ever seen. They grow alarmingly fast and will need a very large tank to keep them happy (at least 4ft long and 100g+). Many morons just get them to watch them tear other fish apart and then they catch parasite/disease from the feeders. They are def one of most misunderstood/misrepresented fish IMO, a shame as they are one of my favorite.

I completely agree! +1 My oscars would flip over so I could scratch their bellies. They would fight over the spot light. ;D

They're like Librarians with teeth, if Oscars had teeth like that that they would be 100x more deadly, imagine!

    My tank is 150 gallons (29 & 1/2" Tall x 18" Wide x 72" Long).

It is going to be mostly a coral tank... With maybe some (One) of the things you folks are suggesting.

If I went with them, I would get a school of Piranha's, not just one, or two.

What is the meanest, most cantankerous thing you, yet not fragile, thing you could put into a coral tank?

    Thanks!

    Frog...
