Ordered corals from Divers Den. SUpposed to come Priority by 10:30am. Divers Den send them standard overnight and then called Fed Ex to upgrade it. Now Fed Ex says the driver was not informed of this. a Aquaculture Montipora Undata frag, Superman Rhodactis Mushroom, and a LPS aquacultrue war coral frag. I am in PA with a little snow(very little now).

Can't you wait a couple hours? The corals will be fine.

I dont like waiting. I was going to place (acclimate) the undata Monti midway at the left corner in my tank and the war coral a little farther down about 20 inches under the lighting. I have 2 150 watt DE 14 MH bulbs on a 46 bow front. What do you think

I understand your frustration. Did they tell you this was what they where going to do? if they told you it would be Priority and this is not how they work I would complain, complain, and complain just on principle. The squeaky wheel gets the grease.

I totally agree that the squeaky wheel gets the grease!!!

Coming from someone who makes a career negotiating and arguing with other people when they make mistakes - a firm but professional approach will get you consistently good results.

If you have your original email confirmation invoice with the EARLY AM shipping marked/charged on the invoice - you are in a great position to gain. I would go after a shipping refund in full. If you got free shipping - I would be looking for a credit in the amount of the shipping paid by the shipper.

so, two days ago I got my cuc crew and had a little difficulty with ups. So I don't know about you, but if I'm getting something in the mail I'm sorta pacing around by the door all day, sometimes for 2days . So the other day I was in the living room all morning, waiting. I go to the bathroom for 1min and come back and there is a slip in the mail slot saying "sorry we missed you" come pick up tomorrow???? oh man I was pissed, I called the office and told them what happened :argue:and that they had live shipments, they called the carrier:gossip: and they said they sat there and rang the doorbell at least 5 times??? it's a loud doorbell. So I get them to bring in to the main office so I can pick it up and when I go down there the woman drops it on it's corner so it falls on it's side when she puts it down on the table, even though it says fragile all over it, I got a little pissed of and sharply asked her if she could read or if she was just incompetent because I could not tell the difference. Good thing it was only snails. I think people should be required to be boxed up and shipped long distance before they can work in shipping!
