I cant get my coral to grow!!!

    With SPS corals, what I said would be horrible advice. However, for mushrooms, zoanthids, GSP, etc. it's sound advice. Besides photosynthesis, their main food is dissolved organic materials.

    should i not skim 24/7? or not do tons of WC? feed more? what?

    ok....can i feed more often? and should i still run my skimmer all the time? or what.

    I never turn off my skimmer. If your fish are growing, there's no need to feed them anymore than you are.

    i havent seen alota growth in them...although i do feed them flakes, but i just got some brine shrimp that im now feeding.

    Not strictly true, even softies require calcium, just not as much as SPS and LPS

    oh and x4 bulbs is more then enough for growth

    i have had 250 calcium at one point, softies didnt care...but i keep it at a good level, at 421 is like perfect, i have a monti cap..

    Exactly. I couldn't agree more. Now that I've introduced a couple of SPS to the tank I keep the nitrates at or as close to 0 as possible. If I want more growth out of my LPS I just target feed instead.
