I.D. Please

    It's the thing located right by the big purple spot on the rock. It has tentacles very very thin though, and they retract if I go near it or touch it. The tentacles are extremely thin and have almost like black dots on them, dispersed evenly along the tentacle. It doesn't seem to be causing any problems but am really curious to know what it is. Sorry for the poor picture quality, it's so small that it was hard to take a picture of.

    Its very hard to see, but I think NT might be right with the spaghetti worm ID.
    Pretty much Harmless

    Ya, any guesses are helpful because then I can look them up and see if the name fits the thing in my tank.

    Hard to see, but agree. I think it's a spaghetti worm.

    Do spaghetti worm's come out of their rocks or do they just have their tentacles out to eat basically and not expose themselves. I saw on another website that some spaghetti worms leave and can multiply pretty fast unless you have a wrasse of some sort, which I do (6-line). Thanks everyone

    I'm not sure, but I have one spaghetti worm who never leaves the rock and is not multiplying...I don't know if that's the norm, or if he is special.

    Yep, that is a spaghetti worm.
