Yes, pics this morning with only the T5's (UV TruActinic)

2x120mm 78cfm fans from Radio Shack for $9.99/ea. I drilled a 4" hole centered on the MH reflector on both ends of my canopy. Both fans are blowing cool air in and I have 1 - 9 inch clip on fan in the center blowing up to help exhaust the hot air out.

I keep my water around 77F, and yesterday at 5:30pm my water temp had increased to 79F. I turned the ceiling fan on high and opened the cabinet doors to the sump to help with this and I'm planning on adding fan(s) to my sump.

8" to the glass on the reflector, and about another 1-1/4" the the bulb.

Thanks for the compliments, the install was huried and very rough, but I know myself and I know I will clean it up over time.

ok thanks for the info: I'll need to do at least 3 fans, I'll do the two and the ends blowing in cool air and one mount on top for hot air to raise out. I see your using glass cover. I didnt plan on using one with my mogul type bulbs. whats your thoughts on that? I think the glass holds the heat in to. only caution would be water getting splashed up that 8-10" high hitting the bulbs.

Yeah, I'm still trying to get some decent pics that are worth posting, but I doubt that's gonna happen. I'll get some up later.

I got my wife the Droid Incredible for Mothers Day... It takes better pictures than the Sony camera I got her for our anniversary 3 years ago, kinda depressing that technology is current for such a short period of time.
