Couple months ago i bought nice Aussie Zoas. Then suddenly green staff started growing. I think its Calaurepa. It overgrows Zoas. What should I do? Any way to fix that? Please help. Thanks.

pick it clean then dip it weekly in 4:1 tank water to hydrogen peroxcide. DO NOT BE LAX. I had this happen with another species of calurpa and it ruined my tank in 3 months. "Sure some macro will help remove nutrients" riiiight.

Put the coral in a QT tank to avoid spread of the algae.

do you have tangs? or algae blennies? I had this in my tank as one of the first algae to appear (early 75 gal) urchins and pbt finished it off.
