    Hi,

I have a goldfish tank, a discus tank & a nano sw. I DO NOT TEST.
I do regular maintainance, cleaning filter media in disgarded water, a weekly 10% water change, cleaning glass inside & out, etc., etc., etc.
I watch my tanks very closely every day. If I detect the "slighest" change, I will test to see what has to be done, but let me tell you I can't remember the last time I did that & my tanks are all doing well.

Freezing & snowbound in a Canadian winter !:)

If the last time you tested and all your parameters were stable and you do WC's weekly I don't see a problem with not testing frequently
