I don't get people

For the second time in two months someone has hit my vette and drove off, just paint damage but this time to the rear of the car, going to take it to maaco to see about getting it painted and selling it since it's a magnet for stupid people

 

That stinks. Sorry that happened.

 

All nice, sporty cars are a magnet for stupid people; the majority of them being the State Highway Patrol.

 

That sucks about selling the vette, though. I known you'll hate to see it go You sure you're not going to change your mind?

I have been through 3 bumpers on my Infiniti due to stupid people. I now have a dent in my rear fender due to some idiot at my apartment (very minor dent, but irritating). If I see someone hit my car and leave without a note, ever, I swear I will donkey kick their car.

 

thats why, when i first moved to the 'burbs i drove the biggest rust pile you have ever seen. all the yuppies with their beemers and benz gave me a good 10yards and the right of way at every intersection. if some mother was dumb enough to cut me off i pretended to forget where the breaks were. it's kind of liberating driving a POS. what kind of vette do you have?

I gotta say, when I sold my mustangs, I stopped having "I see stupid people" incidents that involve my prized autos, at least for parking lot issues.

I have my sport bike, and that is always parked in the middle of the spots, so door dings are nearly impossible.

 

maybe instead of painting it, you could just get it sprayed with some rhino liner. slap a few coats of clear on top of it and you have a mean fast piece of sandpaper that will wreck the next guy that rubbs you. 8)

that sucks! my dad drives a viper and he refuses to park any where near other cars, hes the guy taking up two spaces in the back of the parking lot lol, i keep telling him thou people hate when they see cars parked like that and its gonna get keyed one day
