I live in a college town where many student's parents pay for everything and don't have a care in the world. I own a 69 vette and a 2004 kia optima...the vette does not leave my garage. The kia has so many dents, scrapes, scratches, and cracks in that happened when I wasn't at my car its not even funny. I did have to clip a pole in a parking garage with my bumper so the back half of my car wasn't the new front end of a minivan. People don't know how to drive.= or don't care enough about anything.

When I see people parked like that I get as close to the driver's side door as possible. Sorry, but its just a pet peeve of mine. At least he doesn't do the 4 spot parking as close to the door as possible. Parking as far away from the entrance works perfectly fine with preventing parking lot "accidents". People are lazy and wont walk more than 20 feet to a store's entrance.

i try to warn him lol, but i installed car alarms for a while at circuit city, so he has the top of the line alarm and i set it so when any one gets within 2 feet it gives a constant warning untill its out of the area, kinda annoying but hell its what he wanted. I still tell him it wont stop some dbag from keying ur car.....he will learn the hard way some day

I drive like that in my car and it's not a POS. If someone gasses it on the interstate when I turn on my signal trying to not let me change lanes, I just change lanes, and the heck with it. I'll cut them off and take off their front end in the process for being stupid. I figure, it's a car. And yes it's liberating :)

I'm the guy who will park right next to those cars. If someone takes up two spaces, I will park like normal, get as close as possible to the drivers door, and it's really not my problem if they can't get in their car :D

That warning wouldn't stop me. Would just make me hope that they are in the store long enough for the battery to die. I can be a real ass when it comes to pet peeves.

I used to do that when I had a prestige sports car... some bonehead would still go out of their way to come park beside it.

That's why I love my '99 Subaru. They're skinnier than most cars, so I always try to squeeze into spots like that to make the person mad. At my college's parking garage, where we are supposed to be guarunteed a spot every time no matter what because of the $250 a year we pay to park there, I had to create my own spot. I was already pushing it on being almost late for my first class, and I drive through the parking garage trying to find spots that are supposed to always be there, lo and behold the garage was open to the alumni and such for the opening of the Rec center that day and they didn't tell us. Sooo...I made my own spot between a car and the wall :). Fit like a glove. Gettin out of my door was tough, but it was all good. And then I moved my car after that class because spots had started opening up again.

Also for a few seconds I drive on a 6 lane (3 on each side) highway coming home, and the side i'm on has another lane, but 150m or so up the street it's right turn only. Stupid people only see an open lane, not a right turn only. And I have to turn right. So, while they're sitting there trying to go over one lane get out of the right turn lane, I've actually squeezed my car between them and the curb. What can I say, I wanted to get home haha

I'd still do it. If your that worried about your car buy a pos or leave it in the garage. There is no need to take up more than one spot when u park as far away from cars as possible. Like I said, people are to lazy to park next to your car and walk half a mile to the walmart entrance. Last thing he'd want to see is a note like the once previously posted on his windshield.
