i don't know if this is normal for a snowflake eel

    Impulse buying will get you into trouble in this hobby. Unfortunately the horshoe crab is also a bad choice for a beginner. Tell us more about your tank. Size, how long has it been running, lighting, filtration, future wish list etc.

    all i can remember off hand is that its a 20 high... it's my boyfriend's obsession, and he buys everything for it... also one of my liverocks has turned white

    (i know a 20 gal isn't big enough for the crab or eel-- i told my boyfriend when he bought them that we'd have to sell them back to the store once they got big enough)

    Ive had a snowflake eel for 6 months, with anenomes, 2 clowns, 2 pep shrimp, 1 camel shrimp, flounder, goby, horshoe crab, and some other things and he has killed nothing. Keep them fed and they wont bother anybody.
