I dont quite get skimmers....

    When it comes to skimming... I've always said to go by the product in the collection cup. If it's empty, raise your water/foam level up and it it's skimming clear water, drop the level a bit. Keep adjusting until you're happy with the product in the cup.

    Good advice ....I change my collection cup level from time to time. Just very minor adjustments
