    This pics are really bad, sorry I just cant get the lighting and angle as these guys are growing in the corner of my fug.

    They are very small (about the size or the Zero on your key board) they are fluffy white, with little hairs growing out the end of them.


    I assume since my tank is newer (only 5 months old) that these guys are bad and I should remove them.
    Just give me a name so I can research. Thanks.

    scypholia sponges. Probably incorrect spelling but that's what they are. Harmless filter feeders.

    Scypha Sponge. Thanks. I just needed a ballpark name. I just had no idea where to start or how to google search it.

    I tried, small white puffy grain of rice lookin' thing with hairs, that didn't get any good google hits

    go with the sponges as Reefmonkey suggests
