    In her defense, even though she is crazy, you have to protect your assets. If her hands are her livelihood, she has to do whatever it takes to protect them.

    I mean, you think it's a fantasy world, but consider it this way: Your entire life rides on whether your hands remain perfect. Do you risk ruining your hands and your entire livelihood, or protect them like you're pulling in 200k to 300k a year for posing for pictures a couple hours a day?

    I know surgeons who have taken similar measures, except to protect the function of their hands, because they don't rely on the form. A paper cut doesn't hurt a surgeon's livelihood, but a sprained finger is big trouble; either has the potential to ruin this woman's entire life.

    She is kinda odd about it, though, which makes the thing really weird. It's not so much the protection of her hands, but the attitude.

    She needs to be brought back to reality. Take her mittens from her in the daylight she would freak. that would be hilarious.
