I just know a few people who do and have done the same thing, albeit for a different line of work. I guess it's less weird when you have people like that who you know.

4th degree black belt in tae kwon do, quit when he started doing surgery. Won't lift weights anymore, or do anything that you can see as an obvious risk to his hands. I mean, this is a doctor who now makes over a mil a year doing surgery....would that be the line to draw?

Blackraven, I see your point fully. But a surgeon making millions is very different from a confused freak pulling down 150K a year if she’s lucky. She has the ability to make 1K and hour but a gig every 2-3 weeks netting her a few hours of work is all she’s looking at. My college friend did this line of work and it sucks – its not like you have 8 hours of work day in and day out.

Unless I am paid a million a year I would not want to give up life and “protect my digits from sunlight and anything and everything fun and worth living for”. We all have decisions in life, she made hers and good for her – but does she have to go on TV and play the part of a full on freak tat smoked way too much weed laced with god only knows what.

I don't know my firend - she seems to limit herself in what she can do, she doesn't even open doors ! How can you enjoy 150K a year and can't even wipe your own....OH, I see now - you can pay someone to do it for you -- a supermodel maybe? *grin* oh yeah...I am feeling the freak now, oh yeah

 

I think she is........quite wonderful!
