i was thinking about doing a seahorse tank (and still want to) but i dont know if im ready for that yet. so im gonna set up my 10 gallon and put a lot of macro algae in there and a few mangroves (kinda like fuge but not attached to my 30 gal). i dont know any fish that would fit in there so im just gonna put a lot of pods in there and let the pods have at it. while they are reproducing i will think more if i can handle a seahorse tank. if i find i can then i will have pods for them to feed on for a little bit if not them well i just set up a tank a dont know what to do with it lol.

what would you guys do with this tank??

Sounds like it would be nice to have seahorses in there, if you hook it up to the 30 gallon tank I think both tanks would benefit, having extra filtration and more water for both tanks.

it's simple you buy/build an overflow box to get the water from your DT to the fuge, then you ad a pump on one side of the fuge. As for building the fuge you should have it seperated into three sections, one where the water lands from the overflow box(shouldn't be too big) the middle section is the biggest and that's where you keep the macroalgeas, and a third section where the return pump goes.
