I finally got to see a mantis in person

    Me and the hubby went to the LFS and they had a mantis in it's own little home. It looked like a peacock of about 2.5 inches long. This guy was sneaky, and he watched every move we made! Very interesting creature to watch. Just had to share.

    That's funny. Actually the mantis was on hold for one of the employee's or else I was tempted...not for my tank though.
