    your photoperiod depends on your "tastes" if you will. i leave mine on 8 hours usually, i have heard that corals really only use photosynethis for 8 hours and you will get better life out of your bulbs. but the choice is up to you.

    Ok cool. I hope they do survive. Thank you guys so much for all of your help. I also found a little clam or something similar) But the poor thing was dead. It was only about a half inch long. Poor little fella.

    Ok, so far The white shriveled one is even more shriveled :(. The grey one looks a wee bit darker, not dramatically darker, but just barely.
