    My regal tang died today I have no idea why.
    and my foxface jumped out of the tank luckily i was there when he did so was able to put him back in and he "seems" ok....
    This is my 2nd tang die.. ( first was my PBT and now him)

    I just give up... I feel like just returning everything to my lfs. :(

    Chin up! Tangs are not super easy to take care of! Maybe find a different source of fish then where you are getting them from, Could be that.

    Also take this time to sit back and look at your tank, params etc and see if theres something youre missing!

    Sorry for your lost, but we all have fish die on us from time to time. Now what you need to do is find out what you did or did not do and apply this towards your next tang.

    Sorry for the loss of another fish. Follow the advice of the other posters and don't give up. It'll get better.:)

    Also, keep in mind that those are two of the most finicky tangs you can get. It is just possible that it was nothing you did.

    Sorry it happened though....

    My tank is 6months old.

    its a large tank! just needs some time to build up some beneficial microfauna. 6 months is usually a good amount of time but sometimes it takes longer. Let it go for a few more months and then try another tang :D

    dont give up! i lost a naso a while back but my PBT is doing great (knock on wood)
