I bought a Coralife 36w PC for my picotope. Bulbs are not expensive, and the light was right at 65.00. That would be plenty to grow "Fuge Stuff".
Coralife Aqualight Deluxe Double Linear Strip Light Fixtures This one gets free shipping---Dang I wish I would have found this first...15.00 cheaper than what I spent!!

sweet looks like a nice little fixture but will the 50/50 bulbs need to be replaced with a 6500k or 7000k for the mangroves?

Are you talking about the PC bulbs? or the 18" t5ho? PC's should be fairly easy to find, although I have heard that PC and VHO (t12) bulbs are not good environmentally wise to make, so the numbers of those bulbs might finally be tough to get now. Rumor has been that VHO bulbs have not been made for a couple years now and all that is left is old stock, PC might be that way too now.
