The first thing you will want to do is prepare some new saltwater to make up for that which will need to be added due to a larger tank and surface area.
Do you have livestock right now in the 30? If so yu need to remove them and place them in a container filled with the original water from the 30.
Then, your best bet is to remove as much of the water form your 30 and store it in a bin or comporable storage container. Then remove the sand from your 30 and place it in the 55. This aids in limiting the cloudiness and stress that the living organisms in your sand will endure.
Next, place a pie pan or plate on the sand bottom of the 55 gallon tank. Then add the water from the 30 that you removed initially.
Next, add the new saltwater that you made with the same pH and temperature reading as that of the water in the 55 gallon tank.
Then add the fish, corals and invertebrates...
That is it in a nut shell
    Good luck and congrat!

Before you transfer any of your 30G water/LR/LS over, you should thoroughly clean the new tank. You never know what dormant impurities you may be inheriting. At the very least, wipe down the inside walls with rubbing alcohol on a clean rag, and try to clean up under the brace to get any old salt creep that my be hidden.
