Well my birthday is coming up and my sister decided that she was going to buy me a clam without telling me.
I really am not too happy about it as i really don't know anything about clams but at the same time she seemed so excited about it i didn't want to tell her what i was thinking "I hope It doesn't die"
The only info i could get out of her was that it's a 1 and 3/4'' gold maxima,i don't know where she ordered it from.
My first thought is that aren't small clams like that totally dependant on phtyo to live?
anyone have any advice on where to place it, acclimation, and most importantly feeding.
    :-/

Wow thats tiny,Heres how i feed mine, go to wegmans and get one of the cups they put the salads in from the deli(the ones like potato and mac salad come in) cut a hole in the top that can fit in some plastic tubing, put the tube thru the container and hold above the water, dump the phyto or what ever ur feeding in the tube with some tank water. This ill trap the food around the clam and not allow the food to be stolen from it or to float away
