Trent didn't say it was a Photon, he said he's going to try and pair it with a Photon.

    Thanks all!
And yes sticksmith, this is a Picasso not a photon. Sanjays clowns have heavy onyx clown genetics in them. They usually turn jet black extremely quickly but retain some orange around the face and belly.
The one I am pairing this guy with is his newest phiton variant. Jet black with the orange face. They have been getting black in between the eyes down to the mouth now. Also they have been getting what some call "helmets" or a broken white stripe behind the face. I'll see if I can snap a picture this afternoon.

And this is a male with the same bloodline as the juvi but a bit older... It has been paired with an original photon female for a while (hoping they start laying soon). Just to show what the juvi will look like in a few months.

That is an awesome looking clown as well. Should make some nice clowns for you. What kind of grow out system do you have set up?

we will see. First they have to start laying and then I will have some trial and error until I get it right. Maybe in the future.

Various tanks. the photons pictured are in a rubbermaid growout tub.

Here is an update: The photon was excessively mean to this little guy so I decided to go a different route and it has worked out perfectly :)
