    I'm not sure if it reef safe. How long should I quarantine it?

    about 4 weeks Powerman - tattoo goo being my choice of quarantine treatment - no petroleum based jelly product

    Looks like a Koi carp so not reef safe IMO
    cool addition

    My quarantine treatment of choice has always been Aquaphor, great stuff always heals right up:D nice tattoo.

    Thanks guys. Last October, me and the wife decided to get a tattoo. Then my co-worker decided to sell his reef tank. Well I really wanted it. Good setup for $750. The wife didn't want to, so I said I would give up the tattoo. Well I got the tank and the wife and the tattoo guy were both pissed at me.;D

    So after a year and basically replacing everything on my setup, I finally got the fish I wanted. So.... it is "reef related".:)

    And ya...it isn't just a picture, it is personal to me and what Koi represents.

    Ex Navy. Never made it to the Pacific. I am a Shellback though, but that does not have anything to do with the tattoo.;)
