I got him!!!!! I finally caught the fish!!!!

I have nothing against jeeps. Ive always loved the things you could do with one and all of the parts available. I decided to do something that others dont. I took my 97 4runner and basically am in the process of converting it to a dessert prerunner. Interior cage, long travel, leaf spring conversion hahaha. its endless.

I wont comment on the offroading side of fords....
When it comes to nailing domestic markets, ford does a good job on the car side....(focus, mustang). They know how to keep brand loyalty which is hard to do domestically.

 

Ah, was a Ford guy at one time or two rather.. I had a 1996 Ford Exploder, yes Exploder that's what the transmissions do from 1995-1999. Then I purchased a new 2001 Ford Explorer "what was I thinking" that was so so til I purchased my Dodge Ram in 2006.. I wanted a F-150 & the dealer was off his rocker. He wanted $26,500.00 before taxes & other fees for a 2004 with 35,000 miles with factory warranty til 36,000 & didn't want offer a better deal with a couple of dings on the body. Mind you, this is the dealer that I have spent THOUSANDS fixing my 96 & purchased my 2001 Explorer & my girl at the time purchased a new 2001 Focus.

I bought a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 5.7L "Hemi" with 13,500 miles & tranfered the 100,000 power tran warranty for $21,000 after taxes & stupid fees.. More power, better options, 20" wheels vs 18" wheels, and better looking.

Yeah, I'm pretty much alset with Ford..

Plus I love my new slogan: "Can't Dodge It, Ram It!" vs "Fix Or Repair Daily"

 

Good thing you bought the ram. That would have been a rip off for the ford haha.
Well best of luck to you on your dodge. Im looking into getting a fuel efficient vehicle. 4runner gets 9mpg usually now with all the add ons and its becoming more of a toy haha
