I got my Fuge. Help w/ details.

I built a very similar sump. I think the fuge size will be ok. Especially if you are taking out baffles and making it bigger. I would recommend making teeth in the top of that baffle so no macros get out of the fuge. Or use some eggcrate or whatever. I don't know about filter socks. I have two and never use them just because they get funky real quick and it is more maitenence for me. They do work well though, especially if you have micro bubble problems

 

Still thinking about it Van. I think I can do it and it does not seem as "scary". Then again, none of my "great ideas" sound scary until I do them and they don't go according to plan.;D

My center piece is taking load, and is only held in place by one tiny staple at both ends. I assume some glue is there too. Then a top center brace sits on top of it. I'll take a pic and ask for opinions. I'm working now, and don't have a lot of time when I'm on shift.

I have access to some small porta powers (jacks) and cribing at work. Would be fairly easy.
