First pic is probably a sponge in the middle of Pachyclavularia (GSP's) .

Other coral is a Physogyra (bubble)

Please stop rushing. If you don't know what it is, you shouldn't have purchased it.

Hi, I believe you may have a large colony of common "button" polyps with a few Green (hard to tell) star polyps in there. The other is a Bubble Coral. Be real careful with the bubble as any tear can result in infection. No excessive flow and make sure it won't rub against any rock.
As far as the little chastising from the other member.....it is impossible to know the state of mind of others and their expertise. From time to time we all make a purchase and then realize we need more info. Not to worry, if I was going to get a deal on coral like that, hey, I might have done the same thing.

I'm not chastising. I'm stating a fact. If you don't know what it is, you shouldn't purchase it. Me, and a lot of other people who have been around a while have put many resources out there for hobbyists to use. USE THEM.

Hardly chastising unclejed. And it's always wise to be sure your hands are clean before you point your fingers.;)

Yes, yes.......as a writer, I have a somewhat adequate grasp of the language and my reference was to the second definition, the second word "Rebuke". I said; "little chastising" or for your benefit, little "rebuke" which is what it was. Rebuke: An expression of strong disapproval (Websters' Dictionary, 2nd definition). Seems I have been mis-read and some defenses have gone up. No need for that! Relax, I am here to help, learn, encourage and share experiences. Peace.
