aww man a serpent star just came out of the green star polyps, its like 2 inches wide so guess its not a mini brittle? i can see its pattern very clearly and its center is light and the tentacles/arms get darker as they progress. Should i keep or kill?

im gonna have to wait as the star retreated into a crack in the rock of the green star polyps. but is it reef safe?

 

I wouldn't kill it unless you know what it is. If it's a mini brittle, it will do nothing but good things for your tank.

As for drip acclimating corals, it's completely unnecessary. I just float the corals in the tank for about a half hour to get the temperature in the bag to adjust to the temperature in the tank then in it goes.

 

It's there now. That is going to be nice when it opens up. Good find.
