Live Aquaria says 30 gallon min. tank size. While saltwaterfish.com says 10 gallon min.

I think six is too small. You should get the 12 gallon, you could probably get away with that.

    A letter in a bottle?

anyway to the op, I think that the fish is a little large for your tank and i hope that you can upgrade tanks soon. the 12 gallon would be a much better fit for the fish. I cant remember, do you have any other fish in the tank?

I would say an unhappy fish would be a stressed fish, which in turn would be sick? But that's just my thinking. Doesn't move much, very lethargic.

Especially not with such a short period of observation.

OP, I know what your thinking. We are all being overly cautious and your a smart person so you'll make the Blenny work. Well I have a 40 gallon tank with a 20 gallon sump and I have yet to be able to keep a Blenny alive.

The bottom line is that one day you will wake up and look in your tank and the blenny will be laying there dead and you will say to yourself "damn, I guess they were right after all." I know because I've done this myself. Learn from my mistakes and take the fish back.

Don't spend $175 on a 12 gallon tank either, I don't care what is inside the tank, that is a rip-off. You'll be much better off going through the process of establishing the tank yourself and gaining experience for yourself anyway. And not only that but you really need more than 12 gallons if you want cool fish.

Just remember that nothing we say here is personal. We want you to have a successful reef keeping experience and the only reason we are trying to tell you to get rid of this fish is because we don't want to see you get disappointed and discouraged if it passes away. We say what we say for YOUR benefit.
