    Step 1: Steal radio

Step 2: Get super unlucky that the owner has the serial number after thinking it was lost for years

    Step 3: Meet bubba

    Step 4: ....

    Step 5: ........profit....?

Good! that's the best thing you can do. You can also monitor websites to see if your stereo comes up for sale!

That's a good idea, craigslist is probably a good place to start!
They're coming to finger print the car in a few minutes :D

    Hope they get 'em!

Sorry to hear Magnus. I know exactly where you're at. Some bums did the same to my dads little truck before he passed. Just don't get in trouble on account of these cockroaches. "Give A Moose Enough Rope....& He'll Hang Himself Everytime".

We got a little "yap" dog for inside the house & a fatheaded mutt from the pound that stays outside. The yap dog inside yaps & tips off the 2 dogs outside & all hell breaks loose!!!

Whadda bunch of miserable souls. "You Reap What You Sow".

    Do not despair.

    Agreed.

Don't want to sound like I don't care or anything..... buuuut, I don't. There's no excuse for stealing, ever. It should never be exhaulted or excused, in any way. I'll forgive them for what they do wrong, but you'll never convince me there are any circumstances which would justify stealing.

The exact same thing happened to my dad's old altima about 8 years ago. It was parked in our driveway and he has the habit of leaving his car unlocked occasionally. They stole his stereo. When police decided to check out an abandoned house that was for sale a few blocks away they found two homeless people and a some stolen goods they were trying to sell. We assume they were walking around and decided to see if some cars were unlocked and his was. That was the 3rd time he had had his stereo stolen from his car. The other two times were in Philly outside the Peco building where he works. One block of cars all had their stereo stolen.

I hope they get caught. No matter the reason, unless they didn't have money to feed their kids or medicine, I hope they get punished as harshly as possible. I would still be furious that they stole from me, but I wouldn't blame them if they had to do it to feed their kids, if they had any. It is unfortunate, but you have to do what you have to do. There is a guy I know who went to jail for selling drugs. He tried finding real work when he got out, but no one would hire him. He went back to selling drugs to feed himself and pay the bills, until he got a job at a hotel. He stopped after he got the job.

That really sucks buddy.. I live in the country, so it's pretty quite. I do sleep with one of my firearms with laser sights and live by these two modos:

Anyone found here at night, will be found here in the morning.

Better to be judged by 12, than be carried by 6.

sorry to hear man, and i know what ur going through, same thing happened to me 2 years ago, the only difference they took the GPS, ipod, and gym bag. luckily i had the serial number for both, and my home insurance covered the loss. the police did not bother taking finger print off the car. but 6 months later i got a call that they got the thief. i did not care about the gps nor the ipod but the gym bag, dam it was a nice 1 and it had in it my best sport outfit.
