I hate thieves! Hope they OD! (UPDATED!)

Regardless they did not belong there. It's not like school told him to go up there. People really need to take responsiblity for their actions and stop trying to find a payday with lawsuits. He still got money for his stupidity. I'm surprised he didn't sue the skylight mfg too.

But lawsuits for these actions are dumb.

Yeah, although it's a principal that applies regardless as to whether there's a thief on the roof or a maintenance man. The school district created a situation that's inherently unsafe for anyone on the roof. That, combined with California's very lenient tort laws, allowed this to happen. It wouldn't fly in most other states.

 

The Knoxville property crime investigation dept called today to ask me if I have any new information on my case... this doesn't look good. I hope they run out of doughnuts and go out to do their job on the way to the dunkin doughnuts.

Got driverside door glass busted out about 3 weeks ago and GPS stolen. Costed me 115 bucks to put back. I wanted to catch them and bash their fingers with hammer so they could never pick up anything again.

 

Yeah, dude!!! That's exactly what I thought. I was like "What do you mean if I have any more information?" Like if the thief would leave a note on my door saying "I still got your stuff, dumbass!!! LOL

Sorry to hear that, man. I know how you feel. I wish I could have caught them doing it, dude. The worst thing is that I was awake while this happened, so I was blaming myself for being overconfident and not checking out my window every 40 seconds... kind of pointless, sometimes you just can't help to blame yourself. Even though the lock was on I also thought "I should have installed an alarm system on the car!" but then again, they can bypass that too nowdays.... this crap happens, unfortunately. I hope it happens to them too.

 

I'm pretty sure that I'm not supposed to use any vulgar language here, but I hate that those thieves get their asses kicked by the police! I really hate it when they just steal from you! It's kind of like when some thieves broke my dad's window and stole his GPS. I hate them so much!

 

I hate thieves, some guy stole my psp and my gps. Never leave anything in your car even your receipts.

Last night around 2 am, I was 3reefing at home and heard a car raging through my apartment complex's streets. They came in fast and left fast as well.

This morning headlines said they caught two middle eastern guys stealing stuff from cars, so I called the police dept and asked about any updates to see if these guys had my things, they're going to call me some time today to let me know. I hope these guys are the ones that stole my stuff and that they still have them in their possession so I can recover them... I SO WANT TO PRESENT CHARGES!!! If it's not them, at least that means there's two thieves left around my area, and that's also a major plus!
