I want to get a white banded possum wrasse but as you can see the tank isn't exactly easy to cover.

Any suggestions other than forget it? Lol

I too am looking for a Possum wrasse. Since you have so many things to go around I would think egg crate would be your only option. It will block some light though.;)Keep us posted.

My wife referred to the tank as a mad scientist's experiment the other day... Hey, whatever it takes to keep it healthy right? Sure I would like a "pretty" tank but without a sump... That is what happens lol...

Now to get some egg crate, surprised that didn't come to mind. Thanks!

NP. The holes should be small enough to keep him contained but Possum wrasses are rather small so just be aware if his body can fit through there is a good chance it could still end up on the floor. Please let us know how it turns out for you.

Oh it's worse than that. IF the head fits in the holes, the fish WILL fit. Unless we're talking a fully grown possum wrasse, I don't think eggcrate is a viable option.

You could do a screen over the eggcrate. The egg crate could be used just to hold the screen up since its an iregular shape but keep in mind this will block more light.;)

Try this, maybe it will work for you. I ordered this for my tank, maybe it will work for yours.

If you have to make cuts to make it fit I think it will work as long as you keep it well covered. This one is supposed to let most of the light in as well.
