I have a Coralife PC fixture over my 3gal Pico and I have been happy with it so far, but I would like a more blue tint in the tank. It came with 10k bulbs and I am getting great growth, but some of my corals also seem to be looking more bland. Upon doing more research into what bulbs to buy I am seeing only 10k. The bulbs are also straight pin ones, so I think that narrows my bulbs choice some more... I was looking to get 20K bulbs. Does anyone know what I could do? :-/

Is it possible for me to run the 50/50 and another actinic to get a more blue look?

Did your corals seem to color up more under the bluer light?

Get some actinic LED's. That way, you are actually just adding more light not changing what you have. You can find small fixtures for cheap on ebay my friend bought some and they make his coral colors pop. Just make sure the wavelength is between like 420nm-470nm.
