It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I like 78-80 F to prevent temperature swings. :)

+1 on suggested temp. But my question is how long has the tank been set up? If you are just now adding fish & a heater I would certainly not add in a nem. Maybe try out corals first then wait on the nem until the tank is more established.

the tank has just finished it's cycle. just put two clowns in on tues. I was going to wait a few more weeks to put an anemone in, just to make sure that the levels were still stable. I'm only adding 2 anemones total. One for the clowns and one for my viewing. I want to let them be in there a while so the will pick thier spot, before i add corals to the tank. Plus I will need to get a skimmer for the corals, but I won't have that kind of money until the spring time, when thr tourist come back here. Thanks for all of the tips so far.

I see now...adding the corals later, to give the nem time to settle in, is a god idea. I understand the tank may be cycled, but even then. I would give it another month. It's your tank though. Best of luck. Please update us with pics! Do you have a build thread?

I mean I can wait to put the heater in, because my tank normally stays around 76-77 all of the time. Room temp. I have a few picts posted in the hello section when I joined a couple of days ago. I have to post a few more later. Thanks again

I tend to agree with this including it's your tank but yikes.... anem in a tank that has just finished cycling? I'd wait 6 months myself but maybe I'm going overboard? Definately would give it another month tho.

Good luck and keep reefin' either way ya go!
