So, along with all the pictures I snapped yesterday of the tour, I also decided to purchase something. And that something is a Purple Tree coral. Yes, I caved and decided to try coral again. Here is my newest addition that so far seems to be happy... and my fish like it too :)

Congrats, hope all goes well. I think you should keep trying coral until you find ones you can grow. Sometimes we just don't provide the right environment for some corals. You will not strike out with all you try.

Blurry picture but looks like a kenya tree to me. If thats what it is, you probably wont be able to kill it a second time lol. Also if it is a kenya tree becareful and isolate it as it drops "branches" off that will float all over and it could be come a "pest" coral as it grows very fast!

Best of luck this time around! Make sure to keep us updated!

Yeah, sorry about the pictures. My camera doesn't do so well taking pictures of things that are moving at all. But as for it being a kenya tree versus purple tree coral... I don't know the difference, but I'm just going by what they sold it to me as. Either way, I've heard I can't kill this one... and since the last coral I tried as Sun Coral, this one may be a little easier to keep alive. No worries on the updates however. I'm back and ready to update :)

Awesome! Thanks for the vote of confidence. I have a bad habit of being able to kill things that shouldn't die. Take my clown fish for example :p
